YELLOWTAIL IS BACK

Hola amigos!! Last week was unbelievable fishing. Just to say Yellowtail all around the Espiritu Santo Island, also at "El Bajo" the seamount was very good too. mostly all our boats came back with the limits bringing with them mostly Yellowtail, pargo and cabrilla. Our friend from Portland Mr. Herb Johns (right) Lamberto (center) one of the mosquito fleet captains and Mr. Johns (left) did very well catching 3 Yellowtail the first day and 6 the second day. The weight of the fish were around 25 to 35 pounds. They fished at "El Bajo" both days using live bait (sardines and caballitos) also the jigs worked very good.

The weather conditions were very good and allowed to all the boats get there with our problems. The water temperature was around 70 F and the air temperature around 80's. Having a small breeze from the north made the days not very hot.
