THE BEST DAY IN LA PAZ

A great day at Punta Norte. This "cubera" snapper weighted 38 Lb. It was taken at a depth of 55-60 feet.
Down there I saw at least another 5 of the same size in the same spot.
I am taking home a couple of nice fillets that will certainly get me a ticket to come back soon.

MIKE DIANO IN LA PAZ

Mike diano from San Diego went fishing today with our Captain Lamberto and his friend Steve. They were a little bit lazy in the morning bit after a good sandwich and a cold beer they recover by catching this very nice snapper. weighting around 20 pounds cabrilla. You can see this guy finally back at home happy and tired.

We call him Mr. Ironman, because he is very good using the Jigs. I think he is the best......

hasta pronto.

VERY GOOD WEATHER!!!

Well...not much to say, this photo can say more things than me.....hehehe.
Just to let you know that the weather in La Paz day by day is getting better, no more jackets.. sunny days, no more strong winds and the ocean is calm. The water temp will start getting warm pretty soon. So Dorado and Marlin are not to far from here. At the moment the air temperature is around 75 F to 80 F. Roosterfish, Pargo, Cabrilla and some yellowtail are still around.
If you don't liked the picture....let me know.

NICE WEATHER IN LA PAZ

Finally...the south west wind stop and today La Paz bay looks like a lake. A beautiful day calm ocean and the air temperature is around 75 F during the day and cooling up during the night and morning. At the moment a lot of Roosterfish between 30 to 60 pounds. Cabrilla and Pargo also is biting around the Island. Unfortunately this week was not possible to go to EL BAJO where the yellowtail is biting now. I think for the next days we will have chance to send some fishermans there. I will let you know what happened.

Also I want to let you know that Alaska airline is offering good promotions on flights to La Paz coming from L.A. direct.

Hasta pronto......

THIS IS MR. ROOSTERFISH

Tom Diehl and Dean Spencer from Vancuver, Washintong, are showing us this beautiful roosterfish that weighed 78 pounds. Tom and Dean went fishing with Captain Pancho on the Picudo III. To bring this fish on board took 45 minutes using 40 pound test line. This is the biggest Roosterfish caugh this year and I think the biggest here in La Paz.
The weather is getting better and give us the opportunity to take the fishermans where the good fishing is!!.
I will come back soon with more good news!!
Saludos,
Luis
